- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Re Dr Katz, prescribes Efexor + Epalom. Wonder how many holidays he's received because of this ... mmm , lots of coffee cups around advertising Efexor.. Know several people , all of whom get prescribed these same drugs. I was put on these for deppression for 2 yrs, + upping the dose on each visit when I was not getting better, til I was taking 350mgs of Efexor alone, an extremely high dose for a slim female too. Took me another 2yrs to get off it. Always felt it wasn't even depression I had + I was right, it was Occipital Neuralgia, an inflamed nerve that runs up the back of the neck + into the head causing electrical zapping pain. This was diagnosed in one visit, to a local GP. It required a course of steroid injections in head. I am now living a more normal life. My advice would be not to go to Dr Katz, try someone else!
